Our 2-Year Anniversary!

Sorry it's taken me this long to post again. It got really busy there for a while, working and school and finals. Anyway, here are some pictures from our wonderful two-year anniversary weekend! We had so much fun! Clayton surprised me with reservations for a two night stay at the Hotel Park City. And he had reservations for dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! Wow, amazing. We checked out the shops on Main Street and ate lunch earlier that day after checking in to the hotel. We ate at Bandits' Bar and Grill, and it was really yummy! Both Clayton and I had never been to Park City when it wasn't absolutely drenched in snow, so it was really fun to see it in the summer. It actually was still pretty packed with tourists.
We did get some pool time.. the tan I got is fading fast, though.Of course, we absolutely loved our room. We were perfectly content staying in our hotel room all day! It was so nice, we had our own fire-place, a super comfy cal-king bed, two tv's, and a kitchenette. The service was awesome too, we left for like twenty minutes in the late afternoon and came back and were both surprised that room service had come for the second time that day and got the bed ready to climb in to. I guess that's called 'turn-down service'? Anyway, shows how much we know about luxury! It was nice.

Oh, can't forget to tell you about our adventurous hike straight up a ski slope! That about killed us off! But the scenery was beautiful, and we got to ride the gondola free to get down. It was pretty vigorous.. the pictures don't do the steepness of the hike justice! (Sorry we're in our tanning attire for the pictures, it was really hot and we figured we could work on our tan while working out!) The plant in the picture is called Indian Paintbrush, I think.

And what would an aniversary weekend be without a little bit of romance??!! (P.S. I made Clayton pose in the robes they gave us and he looked so cute and snooty, haha. He and I thought it was so fun to say, "welp, gonna just put on my robe now and my slippers" - they gave us matching hotel slippers that were actually very comfortable and, yes, one was my size and one was Clayton's. How did they know??? lol.) Oh, and the blanket is what Clayton got me for our anniversary. The traditional gift for the 2nd year anniversary is COTTON, so he got this blanket with our names on it. Sweet, huh?! Who'd would'a thought. lol

Yay! I guess that's enough pictues, haha. And just to Clayton: Honey, I love you so much and am so amazed at the love that we share and how much it just grows everyday. Thank you for loving me. Happy two-years, and many more to come! xoxo.
